Join us at Stout Stables in Columbus, NC, for a clinic designed to strengthen the relationship between horse and rider through trust, respect, and feel. This clinic provides the perfect opportunity to build confidence, improve communication, and apply solid horsemanship skills in a beautiful setting, both in the arena and on the trail.
We’ll begin each day in the indoor or outdoor arena, where Robbie will guide you through exercises that emphasize clarity, responsiveness, and connection. These skills form the foundation for a safer, more confident trail ride. From the arena, we’ll take those lessons to the trails, navigating natural obstacles while reinforcing trust, respect, and communication between you and your horse. Whether your goal is trail riding, improving overall horsemanship, or deepening your connection with your horse, this clinic provides hands-on instruction to make both horse and rider more confident, responsive, and connected.
This clinic is perfect for riders who want to:
Build a strong, respectful relationship with their horse
Increase confidence and control on the trail
Practice groundwork and riding exercises that strengthen the relationship
Clinic Details
Limited to 10 Participants - Reserve your spot early!
The clinic will take place in either the outdoor or covered arena, depending on weather conditions.
Meals: Please bring a bagged lunch; water will be provided.
Facilities: Bathroom with shower on site.
Camping: 1 campsite with full hook-up. Primitive camping also allowed.

Participant Fee: $475 (paid to RPH)
*A $175 deposit is required to reserve a spot. Balance is due 30 days before the clinic.Audit Fee: FREE! (paid to facility)
Facility Fee: $40 for both days (paid to the facility at arrival)
Stalls : $25 per day (paid to facility at arrival) Bring your own shavings and please strip your stall before heading out. Thanks!
Camping: $15 per night for primitive camping; $35 per night for full hook-up (paid to facility at arrival) *Only 1 full hook-up available
Facility, stall, paddock, & camping fees will be collected upon arrival at Stout Stables.

What is your clinic cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation terms below.
30 Days or More Before the Clinic:
Cancellations made at least 30 days before the clinic start date will receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
8–29 Days Before the Clinic:
Cancellations made within this period will receive a 75% refund of the balance, not including the non-refundable deposit.
7 Days or Less Before the Clinic:
Cancellations made within 7 days of the clinic start date are not eligible for a refund.
When are clinic fees due?
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the clinic. You will receive an email with an invoice for the remaining balance 30 days prior to the clinic date.
How do I pay my remaining balance?
We’ll send you an email 30 days prior to the clinic with a link to complete your remaining payment.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, if you’d like to discuss getting on a payment plan for a clinic, please contact us.
Are there any additional fees involved?
Yes, additional fees may apply, including facility fees, stall fees, camping fees, or audit fees. These are paid directly to the clinic host upon arrival. You can find a full breakdown of any additional fees on each clinic information page under “Clinic Fees.”
