Building the Relationship That Creates Confidence with Obstacles and on the Trail

Join Robbie Potter for a Trail & Obstacle Clinic focused on strengthening the relationship between horse and rider through better communication, trust, and understanding. Success on the trail begins long before you leave the arena. Through Robbie's relationship-based approach, participants will learn how clear communication, groundwork, and obstacle exercises can help develop the confidence, responsiveness, and trust needed for trail riding.

Saturday morning will begin with groundwork sessions designed to help Robbie evaluate each horse and rider combination while developing the foundational communication skills needed for success. Saturday afternoon will transition to obstacle work in the arena, where riders will work through a variety of challenges designed to improve focus, confidence, responsiveness, and understanding.

On Sunday, participants will take the skills developed in the arena out onto the trail in small groups with Robbie. The focus will be on applying the same communication, trust, and leadership developed through groundwork and obstacle work to the trails.

This clinic is not about conquering obstacles. It is about using obstacles as a tool to strengthen the relationship between horse and rider so that both can navigate new situations with greater confidence and understanding. Whether your goal is to build confidence on the trail, improve communication, or strengthen your relationship with your horse, this clinic is designed to help you and your horse grow together.
