Horsemanship Clinic

November 21 & 22, 2026

Lone Oak Equestrian Center - 11690 Murphy Avenue, San Martin, CA 95046

Building Trust, Clarity, and Relationship with Your Horse

At the core of Robbie Potter Horsemanship is a simple but powerful belief: the relationship always comes first. Instead of prioritizing quick fixes or discipline-specific results, Robbie focuses on helping horses and riders build trust, clarity, and mutual understanding which is the foundation for success in any situation.

In this two-day clinic at Lone Oak Equestrian Center, Robbie will work with participants on horsemanship skills that improve communication and responsiveness both on the ground and under saddle. Riders will learn how to better understand their horse's responses and how to communicate in a way that is clear and consistent. Robbie will also touch on the importance of understanding where the horse's feet are and how that awareness can help improve control, softness, and overall communication.

Through a variety of exercises, participants will gain tools they can use after the clinic to build the relationship. The concepts taught are straightforward, practical, and applicable to horses and riders of ALL experience levels and ALL disciplines. Whether you're working with a young horse, addressing specific challenges, or simply looking to improve your horsemanship, this clinic offers a supportive environment to learn and grow.

This clinic is perfect for riders who want to:

  • Build a stronger relationship with their horse through clearer communication, trust, and mutual understanding

  • Develop feel, timing, and confidence rather than relying on force or quick fixes

  • Grow as a horseman at any level, with guidance that meets both horse and rider where they are
