Clear communication is the foundation of every good ride. In this special 2-day clinic at Heron Springs Farm, Robbie Potter will focus on helping riders better understand how to communicate with their horse through feel, timing, and body position - both on the ground and under saddle.
This clinic is designed as a focused introduction to the concepts taught in Robbie’s full 4-day ABC’s of Riding clinic, with special attention placed on clarity and consistency in communication. Riders will learn how small details in their body language, intention, and timing directly affect their horse’s understanding and response.
Throughout the weekend, Robbie will guide participants through exercises that help horses become softer, more responsive, and more confident while helping riders become more aware, intentional, and effective in their communication.
Participants will work on:
Creating clearer communication through consistent feel and timing
Understanding how body position and intention influence the horse
Improving responsiveness to rein, leg, seat, and body cues
Recognizing when the horse truly understands versus simply reacting
Building softness, confidence, and connection through clarity and consistency

Clinic Details
Limited to 10 Participants
Outdoor Arena
ALL levels of riders are welcome.
Outdoor Stalls: There are 4 outdoor panel stalls available. ($15 per day) Please contact the clinic host if you have questions.
Paddocks: 3 paddocks are available. ($15 per day) Please contact the clinic host if you have questions.
Meals: Lunch will be available each day. Donations appreciated.
Facilities: Restrooms on-site.
Camping: Campsites are available. The facility has 2 sites with power and water for $15 per day. These sites include a hose hookup and connection to 110 power with an extension cord.

Facility, stall, paddock, & camping fees will be collected upon arrival at Heron Springs Farm.
Participant Fee: $475 (paid to RPH)
*A $175 deposit is required to reserve a spot. Balance is due 30 days before the clinic.Audit Fee: FREE!
Facility Fee: No charge!
Outdoor Stalls : $15 per day (paid to facility at arrival) There are 4 outdoor stalls available.
Paddocks : $15 per day (paid to facility at arrival) There are 3 paddocks available.

What is your clinic cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation terms below.
30 Days or More Before the Clinic:
Cancellations made at least 30 days before the clinic start date will receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
8–29 Days Before the Clinic:
Cancellations made within this period will receive a 75% refund of the balance, not including the non-refundable deposit.
7 Days or Less Before the Clinic:
Cancellations made within 7 days of the clinic start date are not eligible for a refund.
When are clinic fees due?
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the clinic. You will receive an email with an invoice for the remaining balance 30 days prior to the clinic date.
How do I pay my remaining balance?
We’ll send you an email 30 days prior to the clinic with a link to complete your remaining payment.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, if you’d like to discuss getting on a payment plan for a clinic, please contact us.
Are there any additional fees involved?
Yes, additional fees may apply, including facility fees, stall fees, camping fees, or audit fees. These are paid directly to the clinic host upon arrival. You can find a full breakdown of any additional fees on each clinic information page under “Clinic Fees.”
