Building the Relationship: Obstacles & Cow Work

This two day RPH clinic is for riders who want to build a stronger relationship with their horse while developing practical, real world skills.

Day 1 focuses on horsemanship and obstacles. You'll work on clear communication with your horse and learn to guide them calmly and confidently through each obstacle.

Day 2 brings in the cattle. Riders keep working the obstacles while learning to read and respond to cows, putting both skills to use together.

A friendly competition (not judged by Robbie) runs through the weekend, with riders scored on both days. The winner takes home a buckle. Whether your goal is handling cattle, getting through obstacles, or simply understanding your horse better, this clinic gives you a supportive place to learn and grow together.

What You'll Work On

  • Communicating clearly with your horse through every obstacle

  • Reading cattle and knowing where to position your horse

  • Putting obstacle work and cow work together

  • Building trust and confidence for both of you in new situations
